Order a Quarter of Beef from a local producer and you’ll find out really quick that there aren’t very many steaks and there is A LOT of ground beef. A quarter of beef is usually around 100 lbs, give or take 25 - this is because cattle carcasses vary greatly in weight and the amount of cover fat - and prices range even more widely due to the type of beef and ultimately - quality.
We realize that for any product to make sense to our customers, it needs to offer value that meets or exceeds the price our customer is paying for the package. We view this as balancing Quality, Delivery and Cost. Many producers have a multi-month waiting list for a quarter of beef, many also require a down payment. We do not. We have enough inventory to ship very quickly which means that within a few days, your money will be back in your freezer feeding you and your family. Quality and Cost hold hands. We deliver the highest quality beef on the market, and we know this because we raise it ourselves. We work closely with a local packing house to make sure the steaks are cut to perfection and packaged for safe transit and storage. It takes a lot of attention to detail to create the ultimate steak experience.
