Instructions
Melt crisco or butter and brown burger or loin tips. It is not necessary to fully cook the beef at this point, just get it nice and caramelized. Add 4 cups of water and 2 cups of dried beans. Add Onion, Garlic, Peppers and Tomatoes. Cook on “High” pressure for 35 minutes on the “Meat/Stew” setting.
Once the cook time has ended, allow ample time (15-20 min) for cooker to decompress before releasing pressure.
Open, add dry ingredients and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes before serving.
