8oz Source Verified, Natural Wagyu Filet is the steak for meat eaters at the top of the food chain. This American style Kobe Filet is fit for a king; its rich flavor and buttery texture make this filet mignon a true masterpiece.

This Source Verified, Natural Wagyu 8oz Filet is the pinnacle steak in the Nebraska Star Beef line. It has a very delicate texture and an heavenly taste that one must experience to believe. These steaks are cut to 1.5 to 1.75" thick and are best coated lightly with olive oil, then dusted with sea salt and fresh ground black pepper. Pan sear for 30 seconds per side on a red hot skillet, and finish on the grill - 8 minutes per side - or in the oven at 400F for 12 minutes to yield a perfect medium rare. NEVER THAW IN A MICROWAVE - this can damage the product. ALWAYS thaw slowly in the refrigerator or in a pan of cold water. DO NOT remove cryovac packaging until product has thawed completely.

The steaks were from me to my wife as a Christmas gift . She insisted that I eat one of them. She grilled hers on a gas grill and I did mine on my Hasty Bake charcoal oven. I did a reverse sear ( my first ) and it was awesome. We will order more.
